Hi to all..
I would like to know if there is a way to get the SIM CARD phone number from a SIM CARD inserted on a GSM phone. It could be by some code, or by some aplication.
The final idea is to have a java aplication that will get the phone number and send it via Bluetooth, so a remote machine can validate an access.

But I would like to create my own application to adapt to the final purpose I want... but need to know how to get the phone number from SIM CARD...

No. I want to open a "door" by bluetooth... the idea is to have a bluetooth device attached to an uC that will scan for phones around, if there is a valid phone number then the door opens. So I need to have an aplication that will comunicate to my bluetooth device and send the phone number from the phone where it's installed, when my bluetooth device asked for it...
