Member: 68549 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Writing dodgy java applications im trying to do a little research into writing an application that does something malicious in the background on your mobile phone. Just as a kind of project, not to let into the wild. Something trivial like when you are playing a java game maybe the game is deleting your contacts or sending an SMS to your entire contact list. I'm writing an application using Java 2 platform Micro Edition (J2ME) but don'thave any experience with it. Has anyone any interesting ideas or webpages that I could visit just to get the ball moving. Also, does anyone know if such a thing is not impossible? It would save alot of time. |

Member: 6472 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Generally, The phone's api dont allow to reach features without the user's permission: 'Do you wanna connect to.. or Do you wanna send sms to ...etc' questions pop up when java wana use this features. Otherhand: Symbians phone OS maybe changed, modified by softwer way (i dont know), so maybe u should move that direction. But non symbian phones OSs are hardwere programed. U cannot modified that by java apps or so. |
