Member: 1022076 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 8 | The switch on fault you describe is usually caused by the change over switch mounted on the cd mechanism . I usually replace this switch and this solves the problem |

Member: 1614864 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 429 | Mode switch Remove the top lid of the cd mechanism As you insert the cd - the load/eject switch is the retracting arm on the left hand side mounted on top of the cd mechanism (black) with 3 wires -- very common fault with Blaupunkt & JVC product. **Please note the starting position of the switch - the 1st tooth as it engages with the rack assy** Remove the switch by pulling the retractable lever forward from its runner. You may have to desolder or release the 3 wires The disc shape part of the switch clicks open ~ inside you will see 3 terminals running on 3 tracks - gently raise the 3 terminals to apply greater pressure on the tracks. Reassemble. * Again please make sure the starting position is correctly aligned * I hope this helps Regards Billy |
