Ok, you are right, if you want to read a HC705 you need to connect the pin 9 to +5 volts thru a resistor of 2.2k ohms, not to ground. (PLCC 52).

Here is the schema used to built my interface, it's already uploaded many times in this forum:

if you taken mcu from board you need quartz and 15pf caps on it edges tight to gnd , and mcu must be powered , if you work on radio board , radio needs 2* 12v supply , and quartz depends on soft you use

I've changed my programmer to your spec and still not work... I also now have two dead radios...
Any help would be appreciated..

I've now tried removing the MCU and wireing direct to the programmer..
I have tried with and without 4.000mhz Christal with no effect..
Any help would be greatful..
