Sorry to have to ask a daft question but can someone advise on the process for getting the CODE for a DELCO CRD500.

Is it via a dump or serial

This is the hardest model to decode from serial...
The easyest was is to read the TMS370 chip contents and post the dump here for your code...

Don't have a reader but I can take off the chip and send it a nice forum member to read !!

I have found a guy that can give the original codes for these DELCO radios but I do not know if the codes has ever been changed in the past so I was unwilling to take the 15 quid risk.

I was hopeing to find someone local that has the gear to read it .
For just one radio it is not worth the bother and if push comes to shove I will just send it for decoding.
