Member: 553477 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Binary File for Becker Mexico BE 830 I've unfortunately destroyed the EPROM of my Becker Mexico BE 830. I've already tried the file provided in this forum (provided by infragsm be_830.rar) This one should work without code, but my radio still requests a code. Can anybody send me a new binary file with corresponding code? Thanks in advance Olaf |

Member: 553477 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi stt, thank you for your reply. I tested the file but I only saw mysterious characters on the display ( as if there were no EPROM at all). The file you send me has 1kb, my original EPROM had 32kb. I think I need a file with 32 kb..... or am I wrong? Kind regards Olaf |

The BAW.... is compatible to a 24C01. Do you realy need the EPROM? The code is stored in the EEPROM (8 Pin DIL not SMD) BAW... which is located on the upper PCB but face down. Best Regards, Rudi |

Member: 553477 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi Rudi thank you for your help. I've now used the EPROM file you've sent me and have managed to repair my EPROM. But there is still the CODE problem remaining. I've now understood that the code is stored in the EEPROM. According to your desciption I've found the EEPROM, but unfortunatly I've no hardware to write this EEPROM. I've seen, that your coming from the black forest, so we are not that far from each other. Can you help me with this problem? Kind regards Olaf |
