Blaupunkt GMBH security code

can anyone help, i need to get the security code for my original car stereo as i removed it to put in a cd player but am now selling the car but the stereo says safe mode and i cant remember the code

These are the details from the main sticker on the cassette player

BLAUPUNKT GMBH
815 7 640 203 360
VWZ1Z2D
VW BETA POLO/LUPO bvx
6X0 035 152 B
Made In Portugal
on right hand side of this sticker is a 4 digit code which is 2504 not sure if this is the security code but dont want to try incaser i lock it

Thre is also another barcode sticker with a long code which is -

*014VWZ1Z2*

Also there is a sticker to show the wiring, this also has a code which is -

8 631 122 603


please please please help, i called VW and they wanted £35 for this code, i bought the car brand new directly from VW and they want to charge me for a simple code i was mortified especially after paying them £12500 up front for the car 6 years ago
