Hello there,can anybody post me a dump with code for a Blaupunkt RCD300-MP3? The EEPROM is a 25C160.

Hi Gitwel,I am using a VersaProg programmer.Unless you have a programmer like this,you will not be able to read dump as it uses .mem format.

Hm so if I understand well, you can use .BIN in your programmer but not to save dump into same??????

upload your dump let's see wath you got, and you can use ponyprog it's freeware and it's support the type of the eeprom and file extension.... good luck!

This afternoon I wired up the Ponyprog base unit for use with the 24Cxxx and used Lancos beta 7 software works great on the I2C type 24C128 eeprom . It will let you read, write, save , edit and change to different formats. You will need to wire it for the SPI type 25XXX eeprom.

( A coworker had been doing all my work before, and I wasn't learning anything from that- so I got the guts up to build my own today - and I recommend you to do the same. )

It really is all purpose as mentioned by Locote above. I am just a newbie, yet Lancos has been around quite awhile and highly respected !

Just my two bits, it really works.

just upload to we see it may be it is same binary format "mem"

Having trouble uploading dump. Send me your email address so I can send it. I cannot save .mem file as a .bin file.

Use FREE web hosting service to upload dump, such as mediafire or rapidshare , etc.
and place the link in your post. Go ahead and save it as your .mem file

Probobly dump is ok, but is "known" only for his programmer

Karsten open your dump with Versaprog , then click on: File/save..../save as type: choose .bin or .hex and upload it again.
