Clarion CT050 PN-2424V

Hello.I have Nissan Almera Tino,2002 year,1.8 petrol. The original CD player doesn't work at all.A friend of mine told me,that the main MCU doesn't work. The display doesn't work, the all player looks like has no power or is not switch on.This guy told me,that even if I find the right MCU and replace it,the player will not work, because it has to be programmed with the right software. Is it right, can the problem be solved only by replacing the corrupt MCU?I attach link with the model of the CD player and this MCU NEC,who makes all the problems.

He he...! Hard words Mr. M1DJF, but true. Joelouis, an MCU its a part hard to test to say thats burned. First you should check radio without CD mecha. inside, FUSE, VCC, VDD, GND... also, you can read dump from eeprom (if had one) to check if are corrupt. We are here to help! But you should seriusly found another technician... or a REAL technician...!

Well,I only wrote what the guy told me.How he tested and why he thinked the MCU is burned I really don't know. The radio, the CD,nothing is working,no sound from it and nothing shows on the display.Even if I try to start it from the ON/OFF button it's like I don't push it.It's really like the player has no power.I only can tell you what he told me and that was the MCU is corrupt.Even if I can find new one,the most difficult is to programmed it with the wright software for this model.I hoped just to change the MCU and start the player, but it's not so simple.I'm from Bulgaria and of course I'm looking form someone else for another opinion.Argento7,I have no idea what's that "...FUSE, VCC, VDD, GND...",I'll show this message to another technician.
But still have this quastion in my mind, can the problem be solved only by replacing the MCU,without programming anything???

My friend, I think your problem isnt MCU related. I suggest you check if radio has all the voltages needed to turn on!

Your problem is psu and switching circuit and he has planted a seed in your mind that the mcu is faulty so it can only grow.
