Hiya, this is a VIN coded radio and can only go in a car with a VIN signal.
If you read the 93c46 chip and post it here with the new cars VIN I'll make the new dump for you

Thanks shooting, does that mean you can make dump so it will work in the second car without having to to Saab dealer?

Regards,
Jules.

Hi Shooting, I have tried to read the 93c56W and cannot get a read with any programmer. I tried first time and I got a little data only only, now I get nothing everytime, all FF's.
Do you think I have blanked it? I don't know how though.

cheers,
Jules.

Most clarions use a version of the 93c series called "Rotated"

Also make sure all the pins are clear of flux (If you use gel flux)
White spirit is good for cleaning the chip

I have checked and cleaned connections with fibre stick. I will try some spirit on it and have another go. Just a thought but I am reading this out of circuit.

Cheers, Jules
