Delphi Grundig CD30 MP3

Hey guys, I've been trying to reverse-engineer the contents of the 24C32 EEPROM in the Vauxhall's/Opel's Delphi Grundig CD30 MP3 radio. I've seen some people seem to have the ability to get the radio code, various code indexes and other stuff from the EEPROM dump, so I was wondering if any of you would be happy to at least hint at the offsets I should be examining? Thanks, Simon

no one is going just going to give you information just like that, as some have been working on this for months on end for solution.
I would say keep playing with hex and bin files you may be able to do it some day or take it to your local decoder who will do it for you for a few quid.

Hey guys,

Thanks for taking the time to read my thread! I can see I've made a mistake by not fully explaining myself:

The purpose of this is not to try and undermine the people who have spent time developing this type of software, or even to try and get free codes for a stereo. I've explained what I'm trying to do on another forum (Tried to post link, don't have enough posts; will do once I have enough) - in short I already have a working stereo but I wish to try and modify it in order to enable certain features which have the potential for them to be activated (e.g. AUX IN on the pre- 08/2006 model).

Regardless of my intentions, I apologise for not making myself clearer and not fully posting everything on this forum. I did not want to copy and paste the same speech on every forum I thought that could offer help, so if you are curious to what I am trying to do please follow the link I put in earlier.

As for the "not sharing" stigma, I accept that most people will not want to share what they have found and rightly so - it's their hard work and their choice to do so. However, I am not like that, so please check my other thread on this forum.

Simon
