Can anybody switch off cancheck and also give code?

According to my information, nobody was able to get this radio to work outside the car.
Maybe you're the first. Success.

This radio needs the car to work.. cancheck is a mini network and it takes inputs from the cars ecu..
Not possible to get this to work out of the car..

I'm sure there will be a way around the cancheck for bench testing.
It's a pity that Grundig are no longer in the UK, I used to have a contact that had a contact down at Corby.

There are cancheck solutions for other Fiat sets, how do they work?

Possibly get an ecu on the bench with a bit of dash wiring... not sure how they did that...
If you know of someone it would be good to ask them as this is a problem we all have...

Bcz other FIAT SETS are made by Blaupunkt not Grundig!! Blaupunkt can be done..but for Grundig i don`t know solution!

I know other Fiat sets are made by B'punkt and others. It is a logical assumption though that if the B'punkt sets are coded in such a way that cancheck can be disabled, then a similar requirement would have been specified in the Grundig units.
