Ford 6000 sound problem

Hi Guys,
I have a Ford 6000 CD. All i'm getting is a constant hiss no matter what I do with the volume. It is the same, if I play a CD or radio, I just get hiss.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks in advance,
Regards, Jules.

This following possible can lead to quiteness in Ford.
A. If anyone have try to rewire the car before and 2 speaker wire bridged together by kissing each other long sound goes off.
B. Moisture from darsh board form AC if get to the pcb while unit on can result similar.
C. Tools touch audio line in pcb or screw fell inside while repairing the stereo.
D. Speaker coil is bad or melted to bridged together hinder others from working.
E. May be wire i.e audio channel is in contact with the car body which is 100% negative.
F. Others?

If you are not a radio technician give it to one nearest to you to change the sound IC and read with metre voltage to the audio line on pcb.
