radio tape from smart car
trying to read with motorola cracker
but can not boot chip
help please
think chip is mask of 68hc11ka4
have linked 59/60 moda modb
reset to 58
rxd to 61
txd to 62
have removed resistors from line for reset rxd and txd
but still can not talk to chip

anyone done this unit before
need help

Try 58 and 59 to GND and set oscilator to 8.6
I'ts easyest Motorola for reading

The processor is easy to read, do not need to lift pin !

u don not need cut any link or pin from pcb,see which oscilator inside and adjust in cracker sw oscilator,or maybe u are replaced rx-tx ??btw if is mcu locked forget for motorola cracker

Cracker can work, only if it is locked delete the entire contents !
Only should force the boot ...

managed to get it to boot motorola cracker 6.2 with xtal set to 8.6 chip is a MC03
but code not at address adr.:190,193hex
guess there is more than i version

file uploaded can any one help with code
