No you do not have to desolder but need connect wires SCL,sda,+ and ground to read it.
All the info is available here in the forum if you search you will get the information .

I have this programmer:

I know where to connect GND, SDA and SCL on the radio's mainboard, but don't know where to connect those 3 wires in the programmer, because i don't have the schematics. I think they connect somewhere in that blue thing, but where?
Sorry, but will be happy if someone point me the way to solve this... i got the radio dead at home...

You have probably user manual for this ?
And first test interface with some 24cXX eeprom ... and if ok then remove eeprom and take 3 wires instead of pins eeprom:

4 = GND
5 = SDA
6 = SCL

and fun can start !!

Many thanks wilcocoyot
So, let me see if i understand:

1 - Connect SDA, SCL and GND to the mainboard of the radio
2 - Connect radio to power? (or it's not necessary?)
3 - Read the dump
4 - Place the dump here and get help from this great forum.

But could you tell me where to connect SDA, SCL and GND on the programmer? I've placed number in the photo.
Just tell me, for example connect SDA to 8, SCL to 7 and GND to 3...

Thanks in advance

Here EEprom pins, I tell you first test the interface with some regular EEprom 24cXX and after try read the FIS.
= Radio need power but 7 V will be enough
