How test on table radio Ford 5000 RDS EON with knob volume ?

Hi,

I can't turn on this radio on table (out of car).

Ford 5000 RDS EON with knob volume.

I have tried five (5) radios 5000 RDS EON with knob volume and all does the same (illumination blinks for 1 second and turns off)

Other models like 5000 RDS EON with keys volume, 3000, 3000Traffic, 4000, 6000CD I have no problems.

I have tried the 4 diffrent wiring diagrams attached and no one works.
Only ilumination of radio blinks for 1 second and then the power supply turns off.

Is this radio locked to car immo?
Have this radios a different wiring diagram?

Any help will be appreciated.

Solved by Argento7.

I have tried with a 62 Ah power supply and the radio WORKS 100%.
When I tried with a 8 Ah power supply, the power supply "auto-off itself" for some reason that I don't understand.

Many many thanks for your hep, my friend.

Thanks for reply.

The 8 Ah power supply is not a battery (is a PC power supply), but for some reason it "auto-off itself" only with this type of radio.

When I write 15-20 Ah I was talking @ bench power supply, not batteries! (15-20 AMPERS).
CSM, Im glad because you solved your issue. Remember, you need a good power supply in your workbench as a FIRST tool! If not, you see... and for eeprom reading is VITAL.
BTW, I dont understand wilcocoyot joke... but nice emoticon!
