How to unlock AC Delco Radio for Sunfire 2001
 

Hello,

Need to know how to go about installing an Ac Delco stock CD/RADIO off of a 2002 GrandAm into a Pontiac Sunfire 2001.

Radio make: Monsoon
s/n: 1G2NE12F02C283780
Part#: 10318435

Not sure how to go about unlocking codes and calibrating new radio to match vin of Sunfire.

Any help would be much appreciated.

you need to read the tms inside the radio and upload the dump here so we can work out the code and set vin in the dump for you.

Please can you explain to me how to do this?

Also, are all Delco models supported?

Hello there you lot.
Seems to me your all far more familiar with the slang used in the auto industry than I am. What actually is a TMS...(I'm totalley familiar with PMS - grin) and a dump? what is a dump please?

TMS is the micro made by texas and that is were the code is stored in some of the delco radio's and some in eprom(memorychip) if it helps:cool:

And a dump is the data set that you read from a chip (eeprom)
