Blaupunkt CAR 300 only " SAFE " at the Display - GSM-Forum

Hi Profis,

I want to use my Blaupunkt Radio Car300. I have the code, thats not the problem. But in my cardisplay is only " SAFE " to read. So I turn it off, put the AS-button for 3 sec. and turn it on. I can hear the function-tone. In the display is only "SAFE " to read. Not my 10 chances to enter my code-number. After one hour the radio is off again. I turn it on with the AS-Button, but there is only "Safe" to read again. Thats all. But i need the four _ _ _ _ to enter my Code-number! What can i do?

from the book.......
switch on ignition
press and hold as button and switch on the radio
the display shows safe after 5 seconds it shows 10----
enter the code with preset buttons 1,2,3,4
multi press the button until number required is shown above........
finally press as until a beep is heard and the radio starts operating
..................ok good luck...........

For all codes requests use this code generator and find it by your self : Blaupunkt CAR 300 Calculator

Also pay attention to SAFE message, you can enter only 9 times the PIN number.

If it only displays SAFE try to keep on the radio for few hours then switch ignition on and off and try again the procedure discribed by max500

Hi, what is the conclusion ? Did-it work ?

My radio manual says: if only "safe" is displayed it means that you reached 10 unseccessfull trials and you have to bring your radio to your dealer for an expensive reset.

As before:

With ignition on : Press and hold AS button of the radio and switch on and then it will bleep ask for code - - - - 10.

Enter code on screen using presets 1to 4 then press AS to store code
