Does anyone have information on the Mazda CQ-JM2832A

Matsu****a ~ GE8K 66 9TO

I have found a 93c46 smd non rotated and has little info inside..

Is this radio CODED? I cannot power it as I donot have the car and the car is 1500 miles away..

Replacing all values with FF is not an option as I can't power to test..

Before you rush off... could I just ask what year and model of Mazda the radio is from?

It's an old W reg (1999~2000) standard radio...
Noone on here can even say weather I'm reading the right chip lol..

No worries, I'll have to do more reasearch into it.. yet another radio I'll be the expert in lol

I was wondering if radio was from Mazda 2/3. There's a procedure to re-program the code by just pressing a few buttons.

In the year of Mazda - your speaking about ... say if a 626. There's a lot that aren't coded.

As it won't be canbus, there shouldn't be any probs, powering up on bench, given the
appropriate pinouts. You'll be able to see if coded or not.
