My friend has a Peugeot T1 stereo
model no: 7 648 146 392
serial no: BP8140W1573182

ive been told i can read the Eeprom from this, i have a 24C1024 programmer with pony prog it will read/write most generic 24C***x EEPROMS which i use to read 24(L)C1024 and 24C512 chips from cable boxes

will this be able to read the chip from this stereo, does anyone know the type of chip inside this model and the postition please

it's a T1 Low ?

Eprom must be 25LC160

yes it is a T1 Low

would my programmer read the 25LC60 if not which programmer is best to use

Yes Ponyprog can read 25LC60 , it's a SMD .

great stuff do i solder it the same as other chips (picture attached)

i dont have the stereo to hand to look but is there only one 25LC60 or do you know the pad location please

btw whats the drop down list in pony prog i use, sorry for all the questions in one post, your help is very much appreciated

thanks looks like pony prog will work but my programmer wont read a Microchip SPI memory chip, never mind lol

yeah got that m8, its my programmer, the guy how made it for me says it wont read the Microchip SPI memory, looks like i need another programmer from somewhere

Cause if u follow schematic , there is every part separated .

i got an electronics engineer to make it for me £18, i guess he can make another for me to read the Microchip SPI memory 25LC160
