Philips radio code needed - GSM-Forum

Hi,

could someone help me with a radio code for a Philips radio cassette from my old Alfa, the serial number I think is phf00659001719, the number is etched into the side. The model is a 731.

The rules clearly say NO serials...
also your profile is incomplete, needs to include country and city...
Once you have done this post the radio's dump and we can get your code from that...

Apologies, didn't know about the serial number, just went from the other posts. What is the 'radio dump'?

The dump is the file from a chip inside the radio.. it contains your code..
You read it and we'll decypher it and give you your code..

The chip will look like this:

I may have misunderstood then, I thought I would be able to get it from the serial number. I don't have the right equipment to read the file from the chip.

Maybe you could find a local decoder in your area..
