Dear colleges,

I bought a beautiful Porsche 996 but the GPS is not working, it needs a code and the code that Porsche gives me is not valid. I think that the unit was changed or repaired and I have to extract it from dump.
Can you help me with this? any tutrorial? whats the correct chip that I have to extract.

I am a computer tecnician so I hope to be able to do it.

Hi
You will need to read flash 29F400 from inside the unit and upload the dump here for the code.

You will need to remove the flash and read it in appropriate adapter with a programmer

It says M27c512 and has a transparent window to see an internal chip

Be careful not to expose the window to light as this EPROM is erasable via this window by UV
