RD4N1-00 Beep problem


Hello!

I have problem with this radio. I need to put vin to new radio, but i don't know if this radio has some checksum that need to be changed or some other security?

Siemens vdo
RD4 N1-00
VDAPAF50055633
REF. PSA

New vin: VF37J9HXC9J011147

This radio has some security like checksum? Or only vin ned to be updated?

Hi!Look inside your dump,vin number appear just one time,i can not see any reason to put vin number 2 time,i modified your original vin for requeted vin number and that is all.

is dump attached which has twice vin number. This is why I asked about it, mayby it is the checksum(second vin)?

@Nigrou Nice solution, but you need to have this device and a car. What if you need to send radio to customer?

Hi!Please compare the other Thread dump with your dump.Is not same or maybe your dump was not read it correctly.In your dump vin appear just once,and location in adress 000FF0 ,but in the other dump VIN appear
on adress 001010 and 0010F0.
So not same model i guess.
