Of course , eprom is in mainboard or some radio's have it in tuner ( Kenwood , Clarion ...etc ) 3- How to read Eeprom Dump : You need an eeprom programmer , like PONYPROG , it's cheap if u like to buy it , and easy to make if you have patience , knowledge and fun to make it Here is all schematic 4- What's a Dump : In radiocar domaine a dump is a back up that you made from the mémory of your radio ( eeprom or mcu ) , The Extension of a dump is most of case : .HEX .BIN .E2P 5- Wich soft i need to read dump ? If there is somethink not clear , thread is opened for all question . :) |
Hi . Do i need to solder away the eprom from the mainbord or can i reed it anyvay. |
You must désolder EEPROM from mainboard , then u read it in programmer . Regard |
there's code decryptor from dump file or we can upload an other bin t the eeprom bref there's many way to find code... |
There is lot of kind of crypting First way is that the code is avaible on bit's HEX Next that code we can Xor the value of octet with another octet , but dont worry , all is easy ;) Most of time when calculating code is hard we remplace dump |
Thanks for the riply. Did think that i maby could do a incircuit reding on the mainbord to save me som work, but as always, " no pain no gain ". (Dont payout to be lazy) |
How to read the dump of the EEPROM? Hi, I have a VDO CDR 500 (E) and I have to read the data of the EEPROM to decode it. The problem: I don't know eather which of the IC's I have to take out and put in a Reader/Writer. http://pimboli2k3.piranho.com/EEPROM.jpghttp://pimboli2k3.piranho.com/ic.jpg My Reader is a RR-Prommer V1.0, is it abel to read the EEPROM? Or is there another possibility to read it? The radio has another narrow slot with 7 pins beside the 3 Slots for the Power and Speakers. I think it maybe could be a serviceslot... http://pimboli2k3.piranho.com/Service%20Port.jpghttp://pimboli2k3.piranho.com/Service%20Port.jpghttp://pimboli2k3.piranho.com/service.jpg Thanks 4 your help ! |
