Hello
I have a dump of my cluster from a 24c08. (vw jetta 2003)
But it seems its encrypted, is there a way to use this dump or the only way is read eeprom from obd ?

I installed a new cluster and radio go in safe mode... unless i get code from eeprom radio, the only way i found is plug back original cluster then disconnect can bus wires and then i can plug back new (used) cluster, radio will work until i remove battery car...

is the radio code stored in eeprom cluster too ?

i try to upload my dump here (in zip format) but it says upload of file failed

I lost my code for the VDO CDR500.

There hs been a prog for reading the dump via k-line: Zprog. But the website (carradiodecoders . com) is down.

oes anybody knows where I can get zprog or somethin similar.

Just read the 24c16 smd with a Ponyprog programmer
and post the dump here for code

Yes or calc it yourself 079-07A and xor it 7E9C this goes for all CDR models it's not national security why people always want to keep secrets

Hello all,
I have a Siemens CDR2005 from a Vauxhall Vectra thats asking for a code.

Ive read the first post that refers to the PONYPROG program. I can also see on the ponyprog website scxhematics for building a device to read PICs, but what about if i want to buy a PIC reader?

Could I just buy one of the cheap ones off ebay? Such as ebay item 361128325679

Will my PIC fit in this device? Will ponyprog be able to read from the chip?

Just buy a cheap eeprom reader I believe that it's a 24c16
