(the first one is a cheap version and the other is a more expensive version) " 24Cxx, 93Cxx and 25xxx Serial E-eprom programmer " " Serial E-eprom Bus SPI EEPROM Programmer RS232 Cable " Also here are some images of some usfull tools. |

I dont think ponyprog will be able to help you. You need to build a simple max232 interface and use a software like motocracker. Check the attached file. Pass is in your pm.

AFAIK the interface you need is just a simple RS-232 Data-Cable from mobile phone like Nokia. I have had 2 similar cables, so I disassembled one and saw right the schematic based on MAX 232 IC. You just need to cut off the phone-side jack and find the right connection for the RX, TX and GND. The pinout you can get from http://pinouts.ru or http://www.pinout.net Kind Regards c-garette

Hi guys, I am attempting my first radio decode, Its on a renault tuner list cd player. I know it can be decoded via the serial but i thought i would take a stab and a practice and decoding via eeprom. I have taken the eeprom out, and have noticed it is too small for the reader i have. I bought mine off ebay, its the more expensive on of the 2 listed above. Am i correct in thinking, i need to get the adapter that is listed in the post above too? to allow it to read smaller eeproms. many thanks mike

depends on borad and eeprom if eeprom is 8 dip than you can use simple soldering tool and vacum pump ,if eeprom is smd than you can use hot air or in circut connection for target eeprom ![]() WBR Zlix

Hi all, I replaced my faulty Grundig/Delphi cd30 unit with an identical used unit from Ebay. Both units have 24xxx eproms. Is it possible to take the original eprom out (i assume it is not damaged) and put it in the other used unit ... so it does not need to be programmed again? It would save me money for buying eprom programmers. Any ideas? Thanks
