Thumbs up reagrding ISP programming by pony prog


Dear group members,I want to programme 93xxx series and 24xxx series eeprom in circuit,so it is possible to read and write the chip through pony prog and how can i read and write through pony please explain,help appreciated,warm regards,Huzefa,India.

Hello member search at Pony Prog site get adaptors diagrams that support the eeprom you want to read or write.

By my test with pony in most cases basic plate with only comport supply works with reading in-circuit 24cxx 8 bit and 16bits eeproms WORKS very well ,and 93cxx are not tested cause sometimes even they are in adapter not respond or improper reading i get

It is better to program eeprom by desolderin - there is problem sometimes when doing it onboard.

Yes , friend .You are right. Must be have expireanse to read any
memory withooth desolder chip.
