Member: 538927 Status: Offline Sonork: M1DJF Thanks Meter: 891 | What you need is an EPROM programmer with which you will need to read EPROM and than upload the contents of the EPROM(dump) here so than we can give you the code from your dump. I would suggest you to take it to your local radio decoder if you have not done this sort of work before as it can damage the radio if you don't know how. |

It came in my city rover, but obviously isnt original, looks like it might be mid 90's. I have an eprom reader, but before I unsolder the e2prom and read it would you chaps be kind enough to tell me the code if I read and upload the e2prom file? My reader only has a zif socket, so unless I solder up some flying leads to the radio from the socket then I'll have to pull the chip. Thanks in advance. |
