Seat Alana Mp3 - 24LC16 location


Hi,

I just picked up a Seat Alana Mp3 - SEZ2Z9 for my Ibiza but cant locate the 24LC16 smd to pull dump.

Anyone know where it is?

It should be close to MCU, maybe marked as L16

yes there is one marked with L16, iv been trying to read it with a Sofi Hi-Speed Programmer SP8-A with FlyPro V2.94 software but the buffer displays blank.

I'm also using a eeprom clip

it can read over 5482 eeproms but cant find just 24LC16

Any help would be great

Maybe you do not read the chip correctly.
Your dump looks very strange.

Right, I have gone thought the list of 24LC16 eeproms chips in FlyPRO.

I used settings :

Microchip / 24LC16B

and it looks like I got a clean and complete dump
