I have this unit for repair and it will not allow me enter the code. Code box is on screen but nothing happens when I try to enter the code. I have tried another front face and fault is the same ..not accepting code. I have been told that I may need to update the Firmware... is this correct ?. Could someone please give me a link as to where I can buy or download this software. Many thanks..

If it in safe mode you cant enter code, must waitin 60min to reset it!
Do you have any timer on display?
If you can attach one picture what show display?

Thanks for reply but the unit is NOT in safe mode. There is a genuine fault in unit and I am led to believe a software upgrade might solve the problem

I have no idea, but i heard only these faults:
- Navigation does not start
- Navigation unit shows only black screen
- Navigation unit only shows starting splash-screen/
starting-logo
