Member: 902361 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | sony cdx-m8800 eeprom im just starting to learn the basics of decoding. Got the software, got the reader. On my first attempt today of attempting to decode my sony M8800, i managed to break one of the pins off of the 24c02 eeprom. Is it possible to get a spare one, and does any one know a good place to get them from. Is it simply a case of rewriting it with a M8800 dump? getting the code and putting it back in? many thanks mike |

Member: 902361 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | thanks, looking on that parts site, how do i determine which is the correct 24c02, from what i can see there are 3 different ones. 24C02C-I/SN, 24C02C/P and 24C02C/SN forgive me i am new to this, hence the reason im in this mess to start with thanks |

1. they can be different by manufacturer like NS24c02 or AT24c02 that is not important any of them fit 2. they can be different by socket that is important must be 8-lead Dip not any other 3. they can be different by VCC voltage from 2,7 to 5 Volts you need that one which work on 5 volts And in much more criteria ,they can be different but this 2 are important. I think that at supplier exist all of this info match it and you will make right choice WBR Zlix | |
