strange pug 206 cd problem

2004 peugeot 206
with vdo 22rc260/65
and blaupunkt idc a09 psa 5 disc cd

problem is this 5 cd wont work in the car it sees the cd,s but refuses to play them and switches back to radio--but radio service center tested it and said it works perfectly for them.
so i took customers rad/cass + 5 cd + his display and used this wiring :
206 pug display to clarion pu2471a inc vin link sets.gif - 0.00MB

but i cannot get the radio to see its even got a changer connected -tried with my own display but cannot get changer to work-the radio works fine (except vin coded beep-beep-beep)

service center say they dont need any ecu or other part of the car for it to bench test

?????????????????????? any ideas

Looks like the Peugeot 206 is using the CANBUS system. In which case, you need the IDC A04
Blaupunkt CD changer, as the A09 won't be recognised. Peugeot changed over from VAN bus to CAN bus
in 2004.

With the IDC A04, you need to tell the car's electronics system that a CD changer is present. As with
the radio, which needs to have the donar vehicle's VIN number programmed to it.
All done using Peugeot main dealer diagnostic software.

IDC A09 used pre-2004.

i didnt get time to clarify some of what i wrote-(time out on editing our posts)

this kit was all original to the car and working in the vehicle till a disc jammed and cust took 6 months to collect the 5 disc after repair-then we found it wasnt recognised by the headunit properly.its all on van-bus
has the config settings been lost ?
maybe the bsi module has forgotten the car had a cd changer lol.
