Travelpilot NX does not run update from CD - GSM-Forum

Hi! I've got a Travelpilot NX from a Ford here and it got some issues. It always reverses language back to Englisch, looses navigation targets, can't store home-address, stop navigation after a while, etc.
Now, i would try an SP5 Update, burned it on CD, eject the Navmap DVD and put CD into the DVD-Drive, like the update said. But nothing happens! I would expect the updatedialog, but it does not appear. Even going into engineeringmode and hit "SYSTEMSOFTWARE DOWNLOAD" nothing. The drive start to spin, but after a while it stops.

What's wrong with the NX and how can i fix it myself? (Electronic skills available). I changed the serial EEPROM on the solderside of the mainboard, but it does not make a change.

Do anyone know where I can find all the older versions of Travelpilot NX upgrade ISO/files.

The links I found are not working anymore :-(

(looking for SP5.1, SP5)

Until now i have not found a working solution to this problem, but to reflash the unit using JTAG.
