vauxhall CD400 Dump


Hi Guys,
Can anyone send me a dump from a Astra/Insignia CD400 radio please?
Eeprom is 24C128. I have a corrupted dump.

If I change the Vin in your dump to the Vin for the car this set is going into, will it work inthe car?

Hi,
Some devices have a write protect pin - see Atmel 24c128w
Try flashing a standard c128 ;-)

Hi Billy, I have found a 24C512 tried to program that just to see if the the first page reads back the same as the file but all data is different again.

Hi Billy, found problem, silly me!!
I had to change file to bin first. Chip programmed fine now.
Still cannot get the set to power up on bench though. When I
try to switch on, display just gives a quick flicker and nothing else.

Hi Billy,
just an update.
I managed to get set working on bench again (circuit board connection fault)
I tried it in the car with your dump, I am sure it worked initially but after the first time it only comes up with "Locked"

Hi Guys, After experimenting with the CD400 I can't work out why if I change the Vin, the set will not power up on the bench. But initially when I did it on another set it would. Is there a checksum or something else that could be causing this. Maybe soemone has been trying these things also.
