Bird's voice ringtone for NOKIA3310? - GSM-Forum

hOlA folks

my friend has bought the Nokia 3310 from dubai n he just insert a Bird's voice ringtone Named(Anthus Trivilus) in his mobile from there. now the problem is that we wana copy that tone 2 another mobile but it doesn't play right from the composer option while it plays very fine from the ringing tone option...we just note the coding of that tone but doesn't works

some 1 plz help bout it ?

i'll be so obliged, if u folks could so...

Read full flash using Rolis Flasher. Try finding v4.78 Build 006.

Then flash this file to new 3310 and update FAID.

Ringtones are stored in EEPROM...

guys i think he is talking about a modified flash or sumthing.

he is from pakistan and i kno he will not know wot to do.

that is my country and i kno ppl there r not technical enough to understand the concept of flashing etc.

if any1 has the time for detailed information and support for this guy, by all means.

This will be a long and complicated process.

He says " it doesn't play right from the composer option while it plays very fine from the ringing tone option" - the built-in tones can't be edited or sent, so it must be a tone he have downloaded. I have 3 bird sounds as binary ringtones, but you'll need to import them to the flash to use them...

if the tone was uploaded by cable-logomanager it will sound different to the compser equivelent (even if you copy from one phone to the next). there are things you can do with a ringtone file that are not in the composer options. why dont he send it you OTA if you are able to view in composer?

Dear UnLoCkSmItH ... u r right the people here r not so advance 2 understand the concept of flashing etc. i'm also new 1 in the race ... but 1 day i'll be on the top that's wat i decided in my heart

i've a bit concept of computers,softwares n bout the mobiles...so i already have Rolis Flasher v4.78 Build 006. n i also have the Nokia Flash Tool V.7.3 . but UnLoCkSmItH sir , i think this is last option bout full flashing on the other phone.

u can get any ring tone from any nokia dct3 by using (my gnokii)
u can faind it in the net by search and it ia work with any normal cabl
no need for any flash

Hi all,

Its not a trick by anybody to prevent copying of ringtones, the ringtone is a "special effect" ringtone with codes that tell the phone how to play it.

Most software doesn't support special effect ringtone format yet, I think the KExplore software author is working on this but it is not freeware.

I am sure free software will be available soon.
