How can i format 1gb mmc - GSM-Forum

I want to format my 1gb memory card. currently i am using "mmc medic"
software for format mmc but i not able to format my 1gb card.
It is showing format ok but inside data is there.
Plz tell me how i can format this and any software
plz give me.

On what hardware and how u want to format ur card?
Just put it in ur cell phone and do format, if ur cell support 1Gb card. If u try format with MMC card reader on ur PC, do format with FAT16.

Just simple.

Iv got 1Gb in my N6600 and no need software to format this card. Just format it on cell phone.

first format it on ur PC in FAT NOT fat32
the u can format it in ur mobile itself u need not require any special software for it
