Member: 5951 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | MarcinW: idea for mygnokii2? In the new version of mygnokii (dated Friday 13th) you can do the conversion within the prog itself. Also, mgnokii can communicate via bluetooth now! So far I only managed to use the at115200 connection option (dlr3blue does not work, says "some functions not compliled"), but it looks fantastic. If only someone was able to implement Outlook calendar synchronisation in some shell, the program would win hands down with all the Nokia Data Suites! Also, the --nokiasetvibralevel is impressive - it almost ripped my hand off with 6310i vibra level at 100%. One thing that would be great is downloading and uploading Java midlets to and from 3410s and 6310is - without it 3410 java is pretty much useless... |

Member: 5951 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | You need to edit mygnokiirc file, including lines on the connection type (irda/mbus/fbus etc) and com port (if using cable or bluetooth). It is not easy to edit using notepad.exe, as Marcin put Unix-style end-of-line chars in it, but if you just type edit mygnokiirc in the command prompt (in the directory where mygnokii is installed) it is easy. |

Member: 5951 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | # This is a sample ~/.gnokiirc file. # In Unix/Linux : copy it into your home directory and name it .gnokiirc # or into /etc and name it gnokiirc # In Win32 : copy it into directory with (my)gnokii.exe and name gnokiirc # Port : in Windows/DOS: "com*:", # (instead of "*" please put "1", "2", etc.) # in other (Linux/Unix) "/dev/ttyS%" # or "/dev/ircomm%" ("irda" connection) # (instead of "%" please put "0", "1", "2", etc.) # Model : use only, when mygnokii2 doesn't recognize your phone model. # Put it here. Example values: "6110", "6150", "6210", "8210" # Connection : type of connection. Use "fbus" or "mbus" or "dlr3" or # "irda" (Infrared over sockets) or "infrared" (DirectIR) # or "at19200" or "at115200" or "atblue" (AT over BlueTooth) # or "dlr3blue" (FBUS over BlueTooth) # SynchronizeTime: if you want to set time from computer to phone during # starting connection. Do not rather use this option when want # to reset phone during connection (in some phones need to # set time again after restart) # Logfile : Use, when want to have logfile from communication. Special # names "errors" and "binary" are described in /readme.txt # Use_Locking : under Unix/Linux use "yes", if want to lock used device # to prevent using it by other applications # GnokiiLoc : name of localisation file [mygnokii] #port is irrelevant for irda connection: port = com6 #model = 6110 connection = irda synchronizetime = yes logfile = mygnokiilog #use_locking = yes #gnokiiloc = locfile |
