Member: 746503 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Is there a good navigation software? I've been using Garmin 5 on my Nokia N95 for a while: I find it terrible slow and it loses the satellite connection all the time. Route 66 v7 it's already too old and the maps of v8 are not already hacked. TomTom 6 cracked by BinPDA is not a good solution since you have to set a virtual GPS receiver in your device. Nokia Maps is not properly hacked. Some better solutions? |

Member: 61131 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Garmin doesn't recalculate as fast as route66 v8 and it's not as nice looking. But the support for speedcams and trafic is good, the possibility to avoid small roads + unpaved road is really good in countries like poland. It's the best solution i have tried so far when it comes to poland. In sweden most programs are working ok, but in Poland i only use one program and thats garmin on the phone. Trafic isn't working in Poland but Sweden is ok. The Europa map is also good. So part of it is the countries you will drive in and other functions like trafic and speedcams. Then there is the route calculations and the grafics that are important. I use Garmin version 4.1060 I don't like Sygic 7 but it's also working. I think Copilot is working but i haven't tried it yet. |

Member: 746503 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thank you Niska for your answer. I'm trying Sygic McGuider 7 now and it seems to work much faster than Garmin 5. I was last week in Switzerland and Garmin 5 was a chaos, recalculating every 20 second and terribly slow (You cross a street and the display is at least 50 meters behind) I would like to try Route 66 v8, but the maps are not hacked yet. |
