Oxygen Phone Manager 2.1.7 with Loader and 3510i - GSM-Forum

Hi all!

I have downloaded Oxygen Phone Manager 2.1.7 with the Loader and I have a Nokia 3510i.

I want to backup my data, upgrade the software of my phone at a Nokia Service Station, and then restore everything back but I've heard that there were some problems with 3510i phones totally hunging up when tried to restore with cracked OPM versions.

Has anybody tried the restore function with this version and phone?

Yes I'v tryed 2 times now.... the software in the phone crashes..... dont know why.....

I backup a 6210 and tryed to upload that to my 3510i...
maybe that was wrong for me not sure......

maybe it is difrent menys on the 6210 that did it for me....

hope you anderstand my english......

hv u tried v2.18 or v2.19 yet? that should solve the problem that ur having.

I read in russian forum many posts that phones firmware crashes after using cracked OPM. Also, Oxygen support service don't recommends it.

It crashes because of your mobile software version. I've already have such problems. The newer your mobile software version, the lesser it crashes.

So, it has nothing to do that OPM is cracked? The problem is the phone's software?

@super13 Yup nothing to do with opm is cracked. For me, everything is working as fine as possible, unless 2.1.9 which takes up almost of my computer resources and crashes. It takes at about 40-50% of my resources. Poor my computer LOL

I agree with domi

Try flashing firmware to newest one, thus updating your software version. But keep in mind that by doing so, your warranty/guaranty will be void. Users is only liable for such actions.
