Ringtone changer 100% working!!!! - GSM-Forum

With this tool you can extract ringtones from one full flash ex. FUNFAIR from 3330 full MCU+PPM flash and add to another full flash ex. 8210.......
I tested it and working on all models ...only 6110 doesnt work (by me)
1. TONE->open full flash that you want to extract from(you can choose whole flash or only PPM flsh)
2. Choose EXTRACT RINGTONES and DO JOBS
3. now open again the flash you want to add to (Choose full flash only)
4.Choose LIST RINGTONES and ringtones will be listed
5.Choose ADD RINGTONE and go to folder RINGTONES (its in the same folder as the tool you using...)
6.choose ringtone and wait.....
7. now Click on CALC CHK and new window opens
8. Choose FIX CHECKSUM and click on CALCULATE CHK
9.wait a bit and when finished close the window and tool....
10. upload the full flash with added ringtone to the phone
11. connect the phone to mbus and open TEK log calculator....
12. calculate log....
13. VOILA...you phone has FUNFAIR ringing tone.....

NOTE: FAID you can calculate only with LOGS!!!
I didn't tested adding 2 or 3 ringtones at one time....with adding 1 tone at the time works 100% except 6110 (gets no network)
NOTE 2-IMPORTANT!!!!:
Don't use REMOVE RINGTONE button because you will get CONTACT SERVICE when u upload the flash( by me it does everytime...)
Just add the ringtone...i dont know how much ringtones you can add but i heard 5 to 10.....so try your self but make backup first.....
Dont use that button for now because it has a little bug i think.....

hmmm...... nice work. a little bit improvement and we're in d right track. as said... use only logger. haven't tried in 3310 higher than 4.45

hello ABE

after getting the soft work with its dll , i tried to use it but seems it dont work on all ppm files always it give ( invalid ppm file )
tried files.ppm / files.fls with no luck .

Hi!

It looks like a nice piece of software... i haven't tested it personally yet...

It would be nice if someone could post some Nokia Bin RingTone Files...

I can contribute with ringtones from 8210... it's the only nokia i have right now...

Is it safe for 5110 , do u mean we can flash nokia tones only or our own customized ringtones. It will be useful for my 5110 with no composer.

little fiddly but faster than searching by hand.

Tested 100% with 5110

now my phone has 52 ringtones.. and counting... just ran out of *.re files to add

To make this straight.....
I only gave link and gave my manuall how to do it.....
But it's not my software...............all thanx should be given to MEHDI.......really nice guy......
The guy is working on Language extract and add to another mcu........for rttl format i dont know but i suppose also,i will ask....
so we will wait a bit for that........
and untill then enjoy the soft..............
