this is a lame topic. y on earth would some1 wanna send an sms by IR. TO use IR,u have to be like freakin close to another phone to recieve stuff. Might as well send a NOTE by bluetooth

wht foolishness, y u want replies for such a simple trick.

follow these steps:

1.open then message u want to send
2. go to options --> copy to calendar
3.press ok
4.go to menu-->organizer-->calendar
5.go to options--> day notes
6. there u find your note, open it, then go to options
7.finally u get the send to option, open it to get options like send via Ir, note or text message.

(BUT, the drawback is that in this procedure that u get the date & day on top of message.)

Maybe he just want to forward some funny messages to his phone without causing him to spend a few dime. Sending messages through network will less your load.
