is there any software that will protect our phone?

for instance if our phone been stolen, we can lock/block it thru its imei. or any way so that our phone will be lock/block.

if your phone is nokia i think there's no need of software to do that, there's an option to set the phone locked if the sim card changed, usually people that stole the phone remove the old sim card, if they get the new simcard on the phone the phone will be locked and request for a lock code, unless they know how to unlock the phone without inserting the lock code, the phone will be stay locked
