Want to Transfer text message from 6630 to n70 - GSM-Forum

hi guys i need to transfer messages from 6630 to n70 any one know how? i got the new nokia suite but no joy. Is there any way i can do this? Thanks

i copied the mail folder from 6630 systems/mail and put it in n70 but no joy, tried to put on mmc and set phone to save to mmc with no success. i have tried OPM but cant get it to add my imei.

so if u have tranfered ur text plz let me know how

hi
you can do this by connecting your phone using a bluethoot dongle on your pc and with nokia pc suite . After the connection copy all the message to the comp and recopy the same to other phone thorugh pc suite

you can save all your messages in to a text file using a software named message storer v1.02.
Or you can save your messages in another way. Copy all your messages to your SIMCard. Plug your simcard into the SIMCard reader. SIMCard reader software can easily copy all your messages to harddrive.

Thanks for ur answers but i want my text from 6630 not on pc but my n70 and pc suite dont allow u to do that. Any other ideas guys?

copy all text messages from your old phone to your sim. then on the N70, copy all texts from your sim to your phone. it can be done, i'm sure. No idea if it works as i own a Nokia 9300.
