Problems with a 903sh HELP!! - GSM-Forum

Hey guys, I just ordered a new 903sh supposedly unlocked. But the thing is, I got it in the mail today, and it doesn't work. I have cingular service, and the SIM is from 05, so I doubt its anything concerning compatibility..
So when I turn it on it says it doesn't have signal. Not only that, the menu buttons don't work. I can't access anything or any menus to even try to change the gsm setting. The camera button doesn't work, the mp3 doesn't work, again no menus work. The buttons aren't broken because i hear the sounds it makes when i press them, and the dial buttons work. The call button only works after i dial a number but obviously ic an't call anyone.

ANYONE KNOW WHATS WRONG?!

Most propably the seller just didn't unlock the phone as that behaviour is default when a "non-compatible" (U)SIM card is put into a locked handset. Try to negotiate with the dealer or try to get the phone unlocked somewhere near you.
