How to save Sharp GX17 from "Start NG" errror After Unlock?
I have readed this post http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...62&postcount=4

But my question is befor any opration how can we check that It's diag is 2006 or old?

mY guestion is that Befor start any opration How can we chack That when we will unlock,it will give"Start NG" error or Not?
and secondly I tried to conect my Phone with out battry Uning NEC N8 cabel,It dont connect to PC and dont give any error nor "unkown decice"why?But When I connect with battry this cabel pics driver vary well
Which cabel i should use to connect Phone without Batt with PC?
Any PinOut?

Just execute the flasher select download, In Program put file p.mot and FileSystem choose file ff.mot and in DIAG choose file unlock diag.mot as shown in pic that i attached. Then connect the flash cable to phone and insert in usb direct back to your pc USB port never use a USB Hub and when in the flasher you see "USB_Port_1" then press Start Loading Flash before display Start NG at your phone. Now Flashing will Start.
After Completeing the Flash your phone will be working perfect.
The phone needs to be without battery , you need to use an nec e616 cable or to modify you sharp gx17 usb data cable :

Brother it's so simple just remove battry and see tag mentioned 2006
along with Models GX 17

YES . working 100 % tested on 2 phones.

Problem Solved...just download and install this FULL Driver installer after successful driver installation plug your phone and it will be installed automatically.

i also got the same problem few days ago startng
so i search on the forum and i get every thing fasher and flash file and unlock file
so now i get the problem to connect to the computer
so i use the furious gold 's nec usb cable which solve my problem and with that cable no need to connect the battery and connect the phone install drivers and keep pressing the flash button untill it start
so i do remove the cable from pc and press flash button and insert cable after few tries i got sucess and my phone was alive and also unlocked

If you have a gx17 maded after 06/2006 don't try to unlock it using sharp furious!!! it seems that they've changed the firmware and after the unlocking steps the phone will not work, it will display this "START NG" screen and it will need to be flashed.

You need to connect phone to pc without battery and if you have error after pressing download do this:
try to connect phone to usb and as fast as you can, press download, all will be ok, if phone stay conected more than 5 seconds..it will always give you error .

FOR UNLOCKING ALL VERSION OF SHARP GX17 UP TO 12/2006 JUST FLASH UNLOCKED DIAG.MOT AND YOU´LL HAVE THEM UNLOCKED.

If you tried old solution of unlocking and your phone is now en START NG mode just flash it with flash files that i posted them .
If your phone is 12/2006 and it´s in START NG ( after you tried old solution of unlocking ) flash it with this files : http://zorleni.evonet.ro/SHARP/gx17/...12Vodafone.rar

Hope you´ll got your phone up and running and unlocked as well

to solve ur problem u have to buy original usb for flashing..original sharp usb...it work well for flashing....100000%tested----ikrash
