Any news or upgate on the status of unlocking the Sharp 904sh.

yeah as of now a lot of new db2020 phones has been released and no solution has come out yet to unlock them. seems SonyEricson team has outsmart our best hackers of their product. Hope this hackers would find
a hole in the security of this phones which is possible cause it is only manmade and if man can assemble it he can surely disassemble it.

Just came back from Cubao, quezon city. Shops there now offer unlocking of Sharp 904sh. They charge the equivalent of 40 USD to unlock and if there's testpoint (what does that mean?), they'll charge 70 USD. They said they recently acquired the program but they refuse to say where they got it. I'm still in doubt and dont want to risk my own 904 being fried. I guess I have first to find somebody here who have an unlocked working 904SH. I'll keep all of you updated.

Simple solution but not cheap.

sounds like whoever you talked to thought you meant 903SH

unlocking of 904 is still unknown.

unlocking of 904 is still unknown.

and they wont say where they got it, because they dont want you to get it.

must be a lie or just hoping they will get lots of businees for when the unlock is available.

Actually it's in some Swedish- like language (Danish, I presume), and since I can read some of it I can understand that they already have the model in their menu, but that the status is: "unlock at store: nope" and "unlock via e-mail: nope". The site suggests you to e-mail them about when they can unlock the phone.

Which means that they're waiting the same way we are.

I'm hoping so strong just for the unlock will be availabile...or my 904sh will be just a camera

because more of its funcion are locked.
