That one is different problem but easy , just remove the internal small battery for 5 minutes then replace and it will work

Hehe, for @ACE_UK Sharp faults are easy
I have a GX20 here that was working fine, untill one day it didn't power up anymore.
Phone flashes ok, I flashed it several times with repair flash, I tried to remove the backup battery, still no luck! Do you have an idea about this?

Best regards

I have checked it, one side connects to battery test pin and the other to gnd, but the value is 2.85 MOhm, is this normal?
Flashing it with GX10i flash don't think it will solve anything.

Just bridge the resistor with small fuse wire and test

well i am measuring the small resistor or whatever it is, and i get 1,2Mohm is this normal? I see a fuse like component from the one side and a diode like from the other side this resistor like component is at the back of the bat connectors next to the shield..
the fuse seems to be alright s/c the resistor and nothing happened, When trying to flash the phone there is no response when power on is pressed, cleaned the red key contacts already but no response.
i think there is power failure somewhere anybody have the service manual for this phone? please pm me
