Sharp GX15 DEAD i think - GSM-Forum

i unlocked it today using a usb data lead and it is not restarting any more
can you help me fix it?

Serch for The GX15 UpgradingTool ...
Use NEC cable without batery ,
Flash the phone and all be OK

You have to use USB cable with charging funktion (NEC cable).
Phone must be WITHOUT batery.
Search forum for schematic.

i need ur help for dead gx15.here i given my sonork id:100.79909.
when i connect nec usb cable with phone then win98se detect "unknown device".so,if have any way to connect with that phone then pls help me.

yes MR baboom right u need upgrade tool and usb cable what ever sharp usb or nec without battry or with battry also never mind

tested by me for GX15 dead by bad unlock

Hi
I have just repaired a dead gx15, I used a stadard gx15 usb cable, connected the phone and flashed it using upgrade tool, now all is fine plus it no longer has the vodafone settings!!

try this:
FULL FACTORY RESET. Format complete EEPROM

Remove SIM

You must activate test mode. Press (at the same time and about 5 seconds until white display is shown) 0, 3, top right and power on keys.
Next press 0, 1, 2, 3 and top right keys, in sequence. The Diagnosis menu should be displayed.
Enter 99 and press the top right key. A message should be displayed saying "Input Mode No":
Next press 1 and top right key to EEPROM format. The following messages should appear (wait about 2 minutes):
· EE_FORMAT START
· EE_FORMAT OK
· EE_INIT(1) START
· EE_INIT(1) OK
· BBSRAM CLEAR END
· FINISHED

Wait until all the above messages are displayed and then press the top right key.
Press the M key (very important). Message should display "Diag Param Saving".
Press red key to power down the phone. Remove and put the battery.

i tried it, but there is problem .... after installing the driver, I opened the gx15 upgrading tools ver.4.50, then i selected the flashfile, nothing again to click... there is option for start loading file but it did not highlight... plz what am i doing wrong

1/ Wrong instal driver
2/ Not flashing by sharp usb cable (only for unlocking) for flashing gx15 must be
NEC ! usb cables i phone without batery !!
