Sharp GX30 Remote Unlock Help - Plea!!!! - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I am sorry if this post is in the wrong thread or wrong type of post, but I am a noob to the forum and to these mobile unlocking issues in general.
I am from Australia, with a Vodafone Australia Sim Card.
I bought a Sharp GX30 from the UK on Ebay - it made no mention it was Sim-locked to Vodafone UK even though the sale was world-wide. When I put my Sim card in I get a SIM-MEP error.
To date the seller has been uncooperative in speaking to Vodafone UK for me to get a remote unlock code via the IMEI number.
I have trawled through these threads as best I could but could not find answers to help me. I can see there are various software cracks but I use a Mac and all the software is for PC

The phone came with a battery and SD memory card but no USB cable or Serial cable.
The IMEI of the phone is 351686000857988
Is there any way some kind soul on this board could suggest how I could go about unlocking this phone???
Also, is it possible there could be other locks I need to worry about too - eg I have read of people unlocking the providers Sim Lock but eg the Bluetooth not working etc???
Any help would be so gratefully appreciated guys!!!

sorry there is no calculator that has been released to the public, only way is to pay £5 at a shop to get it unlocked or pay £5 and get a cable and unlock it urself and be able to use the cable for transferring pictures.
