i think 904sh, 705sh, and 705p can be unlocked by hyper sim
so i am not sure where to get one

hypersim, pss sim, or turbosim will let you use 904, 705p, 705sh:

make/receive calls, make/receive SMS only! NO GPRS, NO MMS

it is not an unlock, it just tricks the phone.

920sh is also possible, but NO SMS.

i just bought 2x pss sim.

i thought camera, mp3, and ringtone works too???

over on hofo SPWORK provided a link to pss sim's site.

The ebay one will work only if it says it is for sharp or softbank phones. The sims have the vodafone/softbank IMSI and ki on them so the phone thinks it has a softbank sim and the network sees the local sim.

That is very expensive and at the same time very risky. You break the damn thing you've wasted $120.

Most important to me:

Can I use 3G VOICE services, or will it constantly roam the GSM network?

If it was possible to use 3G VOICE + DATA I'd buy it.

There are some cheap knockoffs.. but probably in a few weeks prices will start coming down. But as long as prices are at the levels they are at now... someone will crack it and make a cheaper one. I just paid now because I want to use those phones asap!
